The Hunt for DevOps Arc, Part 2 - Research Before the Grind

YouTube, Reddit, and Asking AI to Map Out the Playbook

By Mark Truong

There is always someone out on the internet that’s smarter than you. I am going to pull from a couple sources, youtube, reddit, and AI, but just talking with my friend, I think the main idea here is just building a fundamental understanding of what devops roles are through projects first and then building 2-3 portfolio pieces.

This is a really strong video, it says to not apply to roles for 3 months, and build portfolio projects, post about it, and get a deployable URL link. Then again, I think I want to look at jobs to at least see what they’re looking for from time to time. I will be posting about projects in this blog.
